breaking mental myopia

b

My ongoing prayers of declaration have been for a break in the mental myopia running rampant in the body of Christ.

Mental myopia is the result of seeing people and situations through an “all or nothing” lens instead of Heaven’s lens.

It’s highly destructive and runs in direct opposition to Kingdom thinking. It’s very existence among the body of Christ is dishonoring (at best) and demonic (at worst) because it discounts the all-powerful nature of our God and the fullness of the King and his kingdom (where He rules with love, grace, truth, righteousness, mercy, and justice).

There are brothers and sisters expressing concern over a REAL ISSUE and others in the body of Christ will completely disregard it and vehemently argue by amplifying another REAL ISSUE.

It’s mental myopia.

“Yes, that’s a real issue but we shouldn’t talk about that right now because THIS is more important.”

Or…

“That’s not even an issue. Only the issue that God has put on MY heart is an issue.”

We are out here ranking the importance of principalities and evil spirits and simultaneously despising the conversations and work on the ones that aren’t important according to our OWN individual agendas.

We are forgetting that God isn’t on ANY side other than His own and is big enough to orchestrate breakthrough (THROUGH US by the way) in a variety of ways at one time.

Hi, I’m Shae Bynes. I created this blog in order to capture some of the things God has placed on my heart concerning a “Kingdom Over Everything” life.

In other words, living out of Kingdom identity and citizenship – looking at everything through Heaven’s lens.
